ESG Carbon is a digital exchange for buying and verifying carbon credits with transparency and trust.

Task

Calculating and verifying shipping emissions usually means manual spreadsheets and slow third-party checks. The task was building one interface where logistics teams calculate, offset, and verify emissions in a single flow, using ESGCX-verified offset data.

Challenge

The challenge was updating four key screens — route selection, emissions calculation, offset and pricing, document generation — while keeping the ESGCX brand intact and making dense data genuinely readable.

Results

The redesign turned a technical trading tool into something clear enough to present. Users now calculate, offset, and verify emissions faster, with less friction between steps.

Briefing

An ESG platform without clear focus risks looking unauthoritative. We defined goals, audience, and key access flows — prioritizing security and trust for a professional ESG audience.
Wireframes

Authentication needed to feel simple despite compliance requirements. We wireframed the login and onboarding screens, then used prototypes to refine field behavior and error states.
UX Research

Trust is the deciding factor for ESG platforms. We studied how users judge security and transparency, then used that to shape messaging and the flow from login to account creation.
Moodboard

A generic look wouldn’t convey trust for an ESG product. We built a visual direction — colors, typography, references — that felt cohesive and credible from the first screen
Design Concepts

Balancing a clean, professional feel with an eco-forward tone was the challenge. We iterated multiple directions until the result stayed readable, with strong CTAs and a calm first impression.
UI Design

Inconsistent components would undercut trust in a compliance-driven platform. We built one UI system — accessible typography, consistent forms, clear states — so simplicity and reliability carry through every screen.
